Photographic portrait of a featuring Miriam Lewis, Ernest Thesiger and Nadine March in When Crummles Played, at the Lyric Hammersmith, 2nd June 1927. The photograph features a full length portrait of three figures, one male and two female, standing on a stage and in front of the closed stage curtain. The three figures are positioned in a line, with Thesiger at the centre and Lewis and March, respectively, to his left and right. The gaze of the two women is directed towards the audience, but Thesiger, who stands in three quarter profile, is looking upwards towards a point in the distance.
