The photograph features an overview of the stage on which four figures, three female, one male, are shown standing in a row. The figures are standing in three quarter profile, the woman (Phyllis Hasluck) at the end is holding a cello, next to her a man (A.H. Whittaker) is holding up a flute, beside him another woman is holding her instrument under her right arm and the woman on the end (is holding a conductor's baton between her hands. Dorothy Horne played the violin and Anne Wolfe played the viola.
