Print of Lavinia Fenton, engraved by Apostool, after a painting by Hogarth, published by Ireland, 1797. This print was originally published in Graphic illustrations of Hogarth, : from pictures, and drawings, in the possession of Samuel Ireland, author of this work; of a Picturesque tour through Holland, Brabant, &c. and of the Picturesque beauties of the Rivers, Thames, Medway, Avon, Wye, &c. Vol. II. The Tate holds the original painting by Hogarth. Due to the physical differences between this portrait and other portraits of Lavinia Fenton, the true identity of the sitter in this portrait has been called into question.
