IM31 is from Dominic Boreham's Interference Matrix series. The computer assisted drawing was produced at the Slade School of Fine Art's Experimental and Computing Department, where Boreham studied during the 1970s. He created the artwork using FORTRAN IV, a computer programming language which passed commands to a flatbed plotter equipped with a rotring pen.
