The print features a scene in which two young boys (the Princes) are shown embracing in the foreground, a small dog at their feet. A group of men are shown standing behind them. Amongst them is the menacing figure of their uncle (Richard III) who is leaning on a plinth and gazing down at them, the crown positioned before him.
