Booklet

First, 'Free edition'. Foolscap, illustrated, on newsprint, stapled into the original, titles in black. San Francisco, Free City Collective, August 1968. Discussed in Hollander & McKenna, 'Notes From A Revolution, Com/Co, The Diggers and The Haight' on www.diggers.org. The upper wrapper is decorated with a sort of Flyfot, the lower with the two Tong Figures and "I%". McKenna describes this as the last Diggers publication before the players moved on. Diggers.org notes that for this, "Emmet Grogan made a deal with Paul Krassner to print 40,000 copies for the Diggers' Free edition." (p.170) in exchange for effectively printing it as issue #81 of The Realist. Includes 'The Post-Competitive Comparative Game of A Free City', "...the summation of the Digger/Free City philosophy..." (www.diggers.org).
