Print showing Act II, Scene I from Macbeth, 1787. The print features a scene in which a man holding a dagger in his left hand, leaning forward with his right hand clasped to his brow, in an attitude of despair. A woman stands beside him, shown in three quarter profile, her right hand outstretched towards the man, and his dagger. The image is enclosed within an oval frame, and a caption beneath it reads "Lady - Infirm of purpose! Give me the dagger!"
