Print showing Act 4, Scene 2, from Measure for Measure, 1797. The print features a scene with three male figures inside a stone room. The figure on the left is shown leaning slightly forwards, his gaze directed toward the man positioned at the centre, who is returning his stare. This central figure has his right hand on his hip and a small sword tucked into the belt at his waist. Behind him is the third figure. He is shown climbing up a small flight of steps, his back turned towards the viewer. His right hand is upraised, reaching for the door.
