Print showing Act I, Scene I, from The Merry Wives of Windsor, December 1st, 1798. The print features a scene which shows a group of three figures, two male, one female, outside the doorway of a house. The two men are positioned at the left hand side of the scene, their gazes directed at the woman who appears to be addressing them. Her left hand is on her hip, and her right hand is outstretched, pointing towards the men.
