One group, positioned to the left of the image, are grouped around the figure of a young woman, Hero, who has fainted. The other group, positioned to the right of the image, are grouped around a male figure, Claudio, who is looking towards Hero, but gesturing angrily towards her, as if pushing her away with his outstretched left hand. |
