Juliet is shown lying insensible on the bed whilst her family are gathered around her. A female figure, her hands clasped, stands close to the bed, gazing down at the unconscious Juliet. The Friar is positioned towards the rear of the scene, gesturing towards the bed, whilst another male figure is leaning over the bed, holding Juliet tenderly in his arms. A section of text from the play in which 'The Friar' is speaking is printed below the image. |
