The evening, billed as 'the greatest combination of real novelty and talent ever introduced to the worthy residents of Hull', features several members of the Gyngell family. Miss L. Gyngell dances and gives 'her much-admired performance on the tight rope. The performance concludes 'with the Ascension and Descension of Miss L. Gyngell on the Fiery Rope. In which she will actually Wheel a Barrow from the Stage to the Gallery!' This takes place in the midst of an immense 'chevaux-de-frise' of fireworks 'Which on this occasion will be on an extraordinary scale of Magnificence.'
