| Physical description | The print features an interior view of the New Covent Garden Theatre. Plate 100 of the aquatinted print depicts the theatre with a view from the audience. There are five levels of box seats on either side and various seating on the ground level. The pit orchestra is at the edge of the stage. The stage has a red curtain, which has been raised, revealing steps leading up to a columned partition (possibly a painted backdrop). |
