A circular convex nose stud, phul, decorated with bands of concentric granulation, each minute ball of which is topped with a rosette. A red glass stone is set in the centre topped by a gold rosette and the rim has delicate pierced granulation. The concave back has a short hollow tube attached to an applied quatrefoil of thin sheet gold to receive the fastening through the nostril which is now missing.
