Wood ornamented with wood panels inlaid with ivory carved with arabesques and arranged in geometrical patterns within wood beadings: and with panels carved with Arabic inscriptions recordinf name of the founder the Memluk Sultan KaïtyBey (A.D. 1468-96) and religious formulas; doors panelled with ivory arabesques arranged in geometrical patterns; borders of wooden scroll-work; stalactite cornices; open woodwork inlaid with ivory mosaics; and a copper dome.
