Physical description
Hand coloured print of the Brothers Rainer and their sister, Tyrolian Singers, 1827. The print features five singers in total, the four brothers positioned in two pairs, one pair either side of their sister is standing at the centre. They are all wearing hats with tall crowns and trimmed with sprays of flowers. The men wear short jackets over striped shirts which are gathered with a wide cummerbund at the waist. They also wear knee breeches and stockings above ankle high boots. The woman wears a Spencer over a striped dress. A striped apron with a central bow is tied beneath the raised, empire line waist of the dress. The gaze of all five singers is directed towards the viewer.
