Physical description
Print showing the composer and musician Clara Wieck (1819-1896). The print features a three quarter length image of Wieck who is shown seated at a piano. She wears a printed, 'off the shoulder' dress with full 'gigot' sleeves. Her hair is gathered in a carefuly groomed knot at the rear of her head and a narrow, plaited band runs across her forehead. Her gaze is directed towards the viewer.
