Physical description
Print showing the actress Miss W.West (1790-1876). The print features a head and shoulders image of West who is wearing an Empire Line dress with a low neckline and soft, puffed sleeves. The neckline of the dress is edged with a band of lace with is shaped so that it falls in triangular points across her bust and shoulders. Her right had is resting on the back of a chair, her gaze is directed away from the viewer.
