Print showing Johann Christoph Friedrich von Schiller (1759-1805). The print features a full length profile portrait of Schilller who is dressed in a jacket which is partially open at the front to reveal the waistcoat and striped knee breeches he is wearing beneath. He is standing with his right elbow resting on a tree stump and is clasping a rolled scroll in his right hand. His hat is resting on a rock beside him.
