Physical description
Print showing the actress Fanny Vining (1829-1891). The print features a three quarter head and shoulders portrait of Vining who is shown in a seated position, her left elbow resting on the table beside her. She is wearing a plain dark dress with a low v-shaped neckline and a full skirt. Her hair is dress in soft ringlets, with a single rose pinned to the side. She also wears an oval cameo brooch at the centre front of her bodice and a small bracelet on her right wrist.
