Since launching in 1975, Armani has become one of the most internationally recognised names of Italian fashion. This evening ensemble from Autumn-Winter 2012 represents the Armani signature style of easy-to-wear elegance in versatile colours, subtle textures, and luxurious fabric.
For this couture evening ensemble, Armani pairs a full-length black silk shantung skirt with the smoother texture of a black silk satin waistcoat top. The top is solidly embroidered with dark blue Swarovski crystals, adding a subtle colour accent and sparkle. To elevate the outfit further for the catwalk presentation, Armani created a black tulle face-veil edged with sequins to frame the model's face.
