Physical description
Print of the actress Miss Stephens ca.1815-1819. The print features Stephens, looking over her right shoulder and into the distance. She is wearing an empire line dress with a close fitting bodice and a wide, open neckline. The dress has an upstanding, pleated collar which rises up over her shoulders, and short, puffed sleeves. Stephens also wears a band of flowers in her hair and a simple bead necklace with a small cross at the centre.
