Bracelets like this with two heads of yalis or monsters chasing a jewel seem to have enjoyed a certain level of interest among museums, artists and the public in Britain in the second half of the 19th century, and one of related type, also in the V&A's collection, was depicted by Dante Gabriel Rossetti in his painting 'The Beloved' of 1865-6 (Tate Gallery.)
