Object history | Bought from the Homar Collection Historical significance: This shape represents the typical Teruel oil-jar, whose shape remained unchanged through the centuries. |
Historical context | The arms: three pears on a fielfd gules, are probably of the Perellos family. It is known that Ramon de Perellos, who was Lord of the castles of Roda and Epila (Aragon) from 1416 onwards, had both tiles and vessels made for these castles. |
