Sir Cecil Walter Hardy Beaton, CBE (14 January 1904 – 18 January 1980) was an English fashion, portrait and war photographer, diarist, painter, interior designer and an Academy Award-winning stage and costume designer for films and the theatre.

Physical description
Series of line drawings in blue ink experimenting with different hairstyles and designs for dresses on five female figures. The silhouettes are inspired by the fashions of the early twentieth century, ca. 1910-1919. The drawings are drawn on three different sheets of off white paper, glued together.
