This collection of Lego furniture was bought between 1975-1979 from toy shops in Farham, Surrey, and Birmingham. The Homemaker series was a range of Lego sets designed with girls in mind, and resembles dolls' house furniture. A number of different rooms wee available, as well as smaller accessory sets and a family group of figures.

Each set comes with its own instruction leaflet, which are richly and brightly illustrated with photographs of children playing with the toys.

Kitchen set, from Homemaker series, made by Lego, 1971
Physical description
Kitchen set equipped with a red table with a yellow top, three stools that are also red with yellow tops, 4 clear bottles for drinking, 1 large clear decanter or pitcher, a cabinet with venting at the bottom, a hob/oven, a cabinet with a yellow top, a large shelf containing two jars, two jars that are blue and yellow, a sink, and a long shelf that has three large clear jars sitting on top of it.
There is a pamplet with tthe set that explains how to construct the kitchen, and shows photos of the completed kitchen.
