This desk is from the Director's Common Room of St Olaf House, an Art Deco warehouse by the Thames in central London designed by H. Goodhart Rendell. Production
Probably designed by Goodhart-Rendell, based on an entry in Betty Joel's diary in 1932: “We made all the furniture to G-R's design, funny Victorian stuff it is too. The green upholstered chairs are very good, but resemble stone work in the mouldings, and were originally designed inches too small in the seat!!”
