The original Isle of Wight Festival played host to The Who and saw the final UK performance of Jimi Hendrix. The festival was staged from 1968 to 1970, and was first called the ‘Great South Coast Bank Holiday Pop Festivity’. It was re-launched in 2002, and this poster shows how the festival continues to attract big names in the music industry. (16/08/2016)
