It shows Vining dressed in close fitting pantaloons, and a jacket, both trimmed with bands of braid. he also wears a bicorn hat, trimmed with a plume of feathers and half boots with ornate cuffs. He is positioned in the midst of a mountainous landscape and is leaning upon a spear which he holds in his right hand. |
