Object history | Originally acquired from Jos Museum Pottery, Nigeria, between about 1969 and 1971 by Anna Craven, who was Curator/Ethnographer at Jos Museum, under the Federal Department of Antiquities, between 1968 and 1973. The Director of Jos Museum was Dr Ekpo Eyo. Kofi Athey ran the pottery in the museum grounds, but was financially independent of the museum, although the museum maintained the site. |
