Artist/Maker
Place of origin

The Christmas pantomime at London's Drury Lane Theatre that opened on 26th December 1862 was Goody Two Shoes, or Harlequin Cock Robin, devised and written by E. L. Blanchard, with music by John Barnard. Since music publishers often brought out dance music based on popular pantomime songs to be printed as piano music in music sheets, it is possible that the quadrilles, waltzes and polkas composed for this music sheet were based on that pantomime.
