Silk programme on cream silk in black typography with printed engraved image of horse and rider leaping a gate and intricately patterned border pattern printed around the edges. Pale blue knotted fringe applied all round. Produced for G. Chiarini's Royal Italian Circus and Performing Animals', Rangoon, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Tommaso di Savoia, Duca di Genoa, and Officers of His Italian Majesty's Corvette Vittor Pisani Featuring an overture by the band and equestrian, animal, acrobatic and clown performances by Dunbar, Leopold, Verleti and Smith; Mr. Harry Lee; Miss Annie Shields; Mr F. Watson; Mr. Dunbar; the horses Othello and Mahomet with their trainer Signor Chiarini; Master Robert Lee; Herr Lorenz Johnson and his tigers; the Hayes Brothers; Mr. Lavater Lee; Mr. A. Lehmann; Mlle. Lotta. and Master Charlie Watson. Undated but c.1880.
