Rosewood games table with brass inlay and mounts. The top is in two sections - the upper leaf adjustable on a ratchet for use as a writing desk and slides in grooves. An inlaid backgammon board is fitted within the table; an inlaid chess board pulls out below. There are two semicircular ends surrounded by pierced galleries of brass and fitted with small compartments. The table rests on four curved supports decorated with foliage in ormolu and finishing with lion's paw feet.
