Carpet of knotted pile in coloured wools on linen warps. Orange background. In the centre and the four corners of the carpet is a motif of a white flower in a circle, surrounded by blue Chinese fretwork. The central motif has more elaborate surroundings. Scattered around these are pictures of boxes, vases and other containers, as well as geometric and plant-based forms. This decoration is in yellow, two tones of blue, white and orange-pink. The border consists of foliage within bands of solid colour, zigzag lines with flowers, and white dots on a blue background. The border utilises the same range of colours as the body of the carpet.
