David Singer produced 66 posters for Bill Graham and the Fillmore Auditorium (a legendary music venue in San Francisco, California). He was also the last artist to produce an original series for the Fillmore. Singer's designs employ diverse collaged elements, drawn from both photographic and printed sources, to produce fantastic and often surreal scenes.

Physical description
Psychedelic poster advertising a concert for Quicksilver Messenger Service. The central image features a photograph of a rocky desert landscape with tin-helmeted soldiers on horseback, and army jeeps. Collaged into this setting is a pair of woman's legs, crossed and in fishnet tights, with a large five cent coin between the feet. The event details are printed in silver-grey stylised letters, above and below this image, on the black background. The text reads, 'Bill Graham Presents in San Francisco, Quicksilver Messenger Service, & his Don Ellis Orchestra, Rockwell, Brotherhood of Light, June 18-19-20-21 Fillmore West'.
