This label was designed for the range of V&A Traditional Paints issued by the paint and tile company Fired Earth. To emphasise the heritage association of the product range, Fired Earth commissioned labels and other promotional material that used wood-engraving, a traditional and somewhat old-fashioned process characterised by labour-intensive handicraft.
