Bed spread (Palampore) of cotton chintz, painted and dyed. A flowering tree growing out of a rocky mound is shown at each end of the field,with deers and peacocks, converging on an elaborate circular floral design in the centre. The border is a loose meander of flowers and branches, and with stylised vases at each corner. In black, red, blue, green and manganese on a ground covered with a fine fern-frond motive in yellow.

Bed spread (Palampore) of cotton chintz, painted and dyed.
