This Priest is part of two sets made and used by the Punch professor Edward Charles Webb of Stepney who usually performed his shows in Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Essex and Hertfordshire. He had two sets of figures and booths because his son and his son-in-law both worked shows.

Physical description | Glove puppet of the Priest with carved and painted head and hands and black bouclé fabric hair. He wears a black satin robe with white cardboard cuffs, half a white cardboard collar and a length of navy fabric folded and nailed to the front to represent a bow tie. |
