Physical description
A boy's jacket made of thick, tan-coloured material. It has white stitching and features metal poppers on the front and on the cuffs. There are two pockets on the front of the jacket and a fabric badge saying 'Wizard of Oz' sewn onto the left upper arm.

Object history
This jacket was donated by Jackie and Norman Newton who opened a children's clothing boutique in Essex in the early 1970s. It was one of the items saved after the shop shut down a few years later. The items donated to the museum by the Newtons were often worn by their own children growing up.
