Object history | The performers on the bill were Salt Bush Bill (the champion Australian stock whip manipulator), Johnny Dwyer (comedian with cameo comedy characters), Goodall and Knox (comedy entertainers), Will Judge (the Suffolk Rustic), the 5 Cherrys (a delightful Quintette in new and novel numbers) and a picture programme comprising Through Death's Valley, The Miner Mind, With Her Card, The Sardinian Drummer Boy, Spring Time Flowers, The Sedge Warbler and The Cuckoo,and Inconstant Percy. The bill adds a note about audience behaviour to the effect that no stamping, shouting or whistling is allowed, and mentions that tickets can be booked at Flood's Printing Works, where the bill was printed. The proprietor of the Lowestoft Hippodrome was Mr. George Gilbert and the Stage Manager was R.K. Thompson. |
