The Maid of Judah or, The Knights Templars was an opera serie in three acts with a libretto by Michael Rophino Lacy (1795-1867) and the music composed by Gioacchino Rossini (1792-1868). The story was taken from Sir Walter Scott's (1771-1832) novel, Ivanhoe.
