Artist/Maker | |
Place of origin |
Anna Dickinson creates highly constructed vessels of glass, metal, wood and synthetic materials, drawing inspiration from London’s urban landscape and architecture. The aesthetics are influenced by functional, yet extremely decorative objects such as gasometers. In spite of Dickinson’s industrial aesthetic and use of manifold complex techniques, her works are ultimately about the feelings contained in these seemingly empty vessels.
