Pink paper-back exercise book with school shield and motto printed on front. Each page is printed with wide-ruled blue horizontal lines and a pink vertical margin on the left. The work is mostly handwritten in blue or black ink and occasional writing in pencil. Teacher's markings are in red.
The length of the compositions vary from half a page to several pages. Compositions in this book include:
- Hozzo and Hosso 'The Day the King Shrunk'
- Why do some people still hate the Germans for starting the Second World War?
- Passion Play
- The Knock!
- The Attack
- Football Match
- Swimming
- Census Diary 1971
- Samson the lion
- Spooks in the Lighthouse
There is also a sheet of paper, folded in half, with a drawing of a man in chains next to a large machine. He has lost one of his arms and has a dagger stuck in his head.
Dates in the book span March to May 1971.
