The design may be intended to refer to St Cecelia and her harp. The button has a Rococo style border. There is a ring on the back, which is stamped with the registration number '352928'.

Object history
This button is the same as those in an incomplete set of buttons which were acquired with a fitted case in 1970 (T.92 to G-1970). While these buttons would have been made in multiples, it is just possible that it is the sixth button, completing the set, although donated 43 years later.
