The design may be intended to refer to St Cecelia and her harp. The button has a Rococo style border. There is a ring on the back, which is stamped with the registration number '352928'.

Object history | This button is the same as those in an incomplete set of buttons which were acquired with a fitted case in 1970 (T.92 to G-1970). While these buttons would have been made in multiples, it is just possible that it is the sixth button, completing the set, although donated 43 years later. |
