Artist/Maker | |
Place of origin |
This mohair teddybear muff was made in England by Merrythought in the 1970s, and was popular with children when it was first made. The body is white, unlike previous muffs made by Merrythought, and the rope is white too.
Merrythought have been an extremely successful company since they were established in 1930, and the same family are still in control. Their success is, in part, due to their continued commitment to their original style of manufacturing.
