Embroidered pale cream / green-coloured plain woven silk jacket with turn-back lapels and collar, turn-back cuffs and closure of one centrally placed button and self-fabric loop. Richly embroidered all-over in pastel-coloured slightly twisted silk in flat stitch work. Embroidery design consist of long-tailed feathered birds among flowers and plants. Fully lined with beige fine twill silk. A small pocket on the inside, proper left side.

Object history
The donor said that the jacket belonged to his mother, and the family suspect that it came from the donor's paternal grandfather's sister. The sister spent most of her life acting as travelling companion for another relative, and the jacket was perhaps purchased during one of these trips.
