Cylindrical sewn leather bottle (also referred to as a ‘costrel’ or ‘bottell’), with large rims. Two lug holes, either side of the opening at the top, would have previously held a strap by which to carry the bottle. Still has a cork stopper.

Physical description
Cylindrical sewn leather bottle (also referred to as a ‘costrel’ or ‘bottell’), with large rims. Two lug holes, either side of the opening at the top, would have previously held a strap by which to carry the bottle. Still has a cork stopper.
