Leather cabinet with one drawer with a brass handle and key, containing two needle books, a thimble and a weight. The gadrooned lid is decorated with bands of conventional ornament. Decorated in monochrome respectively with peacocks, and a dog seated at the foot of a tree. The underside of the lid is decorated in white satin in gathers, within a border of gilt arabesque ornament. It is hinged, forming a compartment.
