Object history | These prints were used at Winsor School, East Ham. The series was designed to support the Gay Way reading course for primary school children. This long-standing course of handbooks, reading books and posters offered a developmental approach to reading and gradually introduced new vocabulary to the young reader. The donor was a teacher at this school in the mid-1980s, by which time the posters had been put in storage and considered 'far too dated'. |
